Indian American-directed Doritos Ad a Super Bowl Finalist!

Indian American ad film director Nick Sivakumaran’s humorous Doritos commercial is a finalist in a Super Bowl-themed “Crash the Super Bowl” contest sponsored by PepsiCo, and he will now compete for a coveted Super Bowl XLIX airtime slot, a $1 million grand prize and a job with Universal Pictures.

54c03850ab940.imageHis Doritos commercial, “The Lemonade Stand,” is among 10 finalists selected from nearly 4,900 submissions representing 29 countries around the world. “The Lemonade Stand” was written by Richard Jindapornsuk and produced and edited by Dave Horowitz. Working with Sivakumaran, they shot the project in Los Angeles with a small crew and a minimal budget.
