CONVOCATION 2014!

Neo Film School conducts its convocation ceremony every two year to give out certificates to those who complete their program successfully at Neo. In 2010, convocation was successfully conducted and the chief guest for that year was none other Sri. Lal Jose. In the year 2012, Sri. Sathayan Anthikkadu was the chief guest. And, in 2014, on December 30th at IMA House, Cochin, Neo Film School conducted its convocation ceremony and distributed more than 150 certificates to graduates from different specialties of filmmaking. Oscar Winner Sri. Resul Pookutty was the chief guest for Convocation 2014. His inspirational speech gave enthusiasm to passing out students as well as to presents students. He mentioned that some may think that his Oscar Winning was an over-night success but he said that one night had fifteen years of length.  Along with Mr. Resul Pookutty, Neo Film School Academic Council Chairman Sri. Sibi Malayil, School Director Sri. Jain Joseph, Film Directors Sri. Leo Thaddeus, Sri. Shaji Aziz, Ad Film Maker Sreekanth Murali; and many other film and television professional were present at the wonderful occasion.  Parents, faculty, students shared the happy moment and became a part of the history of Neo. The event was joyful with the screening of student productions and entertainment programs. The program ended with cake cutting ceremony to welcome the coming new year – 2015!

ORIENTATION PROGRAM AT NEO FOR NEO-12TH BATCH!

Our second orientation program (a three-day pre-admission course) prior to our admission is scheduled at Neo Film School on December 15, 16 & 17 for the Neo-12th batch. Those who attended the seminar and many others will be attending the orientation. Orientation program will start at 2:30 pm on the 15th. We’ll be having a morning session starting at 9:00 am for those didn’t get a chance to attend our seminar. We welcome you all to attend the orientation program to join the one and only complete film school in India.

Actor Mr. Sunil Sugatha is coming to Neo!

Sunil Sugatha is a film actor who recently became an inevitable part of malayalam film industry with his great performance. Sugatha is also ventured into experimenting with theatre as this gifted actor would be soon seen in a theatric experiment. His recents films includes ‘Vellimoonga’; ‘Ithihasa’; and ‘Varsham’. All of those films are still doing the best in the box office. Sugatha’s role in the movie ‘Ithihasa’ as an interesting police officer has garnered good reviews. He is coming to Neo to spend a quality time with Neo-11th batch students on this coming Friday, December 05, 2014.

‘ITHIHASA’ may speak Tamil!

Ithihasa, the recent Malayalam film directed by Binu, a surprise hit of the year. It tells the story, mixed with fantasy and humor, of a boy who turns girl and girl turns boy due to some crazy incidents. The character of boy who turned girl was played by Shine Tom Chacko and the character of girl who turned boy was done by Anusree. The big news is that ‘Ithihasa’ will soon be remade in Tamil language and the Rajkamal international which is owned by none other than Ulakanaayakan Kamal Haasan bagged the remake rights of the film. Congratulations to the whole team, especially to all Neos who worked in the film. More than fourteen Neos played a major role in making of film including Script Writer, Editor, Associate Director, Assistant Directors, Assistant Editors & Actors. KUDOS TO NEOS!
